From December 2015 – December 2016, Capoeira for All engaged with, and changed the lives of 110 young people and children in the south Liverpool area.

Capoeira for All took a group of young people from the Toxteth area of Liverpool who went on to take part in the Brazilica Festival, performing in front of thousand’s of people. They fed-back that this was a significant event in their lives that gave them confidence, and raised their self-esteem. Furthermore, we developed a project with St Hugh’s Exclusion Unit, a unit for children aged 5-9 expelled from main stream school, and feedback from staff reflected that children showed enjoyment in learning, raised confidence and self-esteem and took part in group physical activity.
